Cole Johnson
Cole is a first-year student at SNC. He is a theology and religious studies major with a philosophy minor. He decided to be a student catechist because of his deep love of the Catholic church and he wants to spread god's word to the youth of today. He is also discerning the priesthood at the moment so doing one of the many jobs priests do in their everyday lives – expanding their circle of knowledge to the public – is a great way to make his path is life clearer. In his free time, he loves to play tennis, listen to music, watch movies and hang out with friends. He is extremely excited to work with students and see how much their faith grows throughout the year.

Thaddeus Loduha

Thaddeus Loduha is very happy to be working as a student catechist since this is his first time holding a position as a teacher instead of being a student. Thaddeus received his name as he is a miracle baby; surviving a high-risk birth as a premature, C-section baby at 2 pounds. His mother prayed to St. Jude Thaddeus who is the saint of impossible cases, and knew what was to be her son’s name. Thaddeus has been passionate and serious about his faith since he was little, bringing his faith to the front in his everyday life. His eager personality and passion for his Catholic faith and everyday life stem from his birth. Thaddeus lives by this mantra: “I have been spared and God had a reason for it. It is my duty to make sure I do all I can to relish the gift of life and find my purpose which God has called me to.” Thaddeus’ hometown is in Wauwatosa, Wis., where he lives with his parents Daniel and Terezia and his younger brother Nikolas. Thaddeus’ parents are from Slovakia, and he is very proud of his Slovak blood. He speaks Slovak at home, and occasionally at school if someone asks. Thaddeus is a junior as a geology major and will be adding a theology major in the future. Thaddeus is an outdoorsmen who loves to hunt, hike and camp. Thaddeus also enjoys ballroom dancing, working out, photography and being involved with various faith-based activities around campus.
