Our monthly Faith Festivals offer age-appropriate programming to our elementary, middle school and high school students while adults learn more about their faith formation from a variety of speakers and discussions.

Education & Faith Formation

The catechetical documents of the Church call us to view faith formation as a lifelong process. Here at the St. Norbert College Parish, we invite you to consider our educational programs as a way to deepen your connections and relationships with our spiritual community while simultaneously fostering your own faith.

Inspired by the 800th Anniversary Year of the conversion of St. Norbert, this year we note the 50th Anniversary of the closing of the Second Vatican Council with the SNC campus theme of Joy & Hope as dedicated to The Pastoral Constitution of the Church of the Modern World: Gaudium et Spes. This Sept. 15, Pope Francis visited the United States for the World Meeting of Families: in December, he will proclaim a Holy Year of Mercy.

Also, on Christmas Day 2015, the Old St. Joseph Church building celebrates its 145th birthday! What an amazing year to come together as a community of faith dedicated to worship, life-long faith formation, peace and justice for all.

Life-long Faith Formation Programs
The various components of our Life-long Faith Formation efforts feature opportunities for every member of our parish community to grow and mature in our Catholic faith through liturgy, sacraments, prayers, education and faith formation and social justice ministries.

Sunday and Holy Day Masses
We gather as a whole parish community to celebrate the source and summit of our faith. Strengthened by God's word and nourished by the Eucharist, we are sent forth to love and serve in God's name.

Baptism preparation, marriage preparation, first reconciliation mini retreats, first Eucharist mini retreats, confirmation and the RCIA are all available through the St. Norbert College Parish.

Sacramental Preparation
As members of our parish prepare for any of the sacraments of the Church, we urge them to attend, with their families, the weekly Sunday parish Mass and to take part in our Lifelong Faith Formation programs. Lifelong Faith Formation is our parish’s primary religious education program, so we hope to see every child or teen take full part in “Lifelong Faith Formation” for an entire year, ahead of entering into their year of preparation.

First reconciliation preparation sessions are intended for any student in second grade or older who has not yet prepared for the sacrament of reconciliation. First Eucharist preparation sessions are for students in second grade.
