Jenne Wiedemeier

REP - Leader of Middle School Ministry

Hello! My name is Jenne and I came to St. Norbert from the wonderful village of Crivitz, Wis. I am a member of the SNC track and field team, and in my free time, I enjoy reading, waterskiing and spending time with my family. I am studying sociology and mathematics and I hope to obtain my Masters in Social Work after I graduate from SNC.

I am excited to be back at St. Norbert College Parish after spending a semester abroad in Ireland. This is my third year working with Generations of Faith and I am excited to work alongside such inspiring ministers and catechists.

Major: Sociology/Human Services
Minor: Math
Hometown: Porterfield, Wis.
High School: Crivitz High School
Home Church: St. Mary Parish, Crivitz, Wis.

Hopes for the year: This semester, I hope to grow in my faith while teaching and praying with the middle school students. I hope that together we can learn more about the saints, about sacred scripture, and about our beautiful Catholic faith. I hope that God will use me in many ways to inspire and encourage the middle school students along their faith journeys.

Favorite place to pray on campus: The Oratory at Old St. Joe’s

Favorite words of wisdom: “May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing you are a child of God. Let this presence settle into your bones and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.” – St. Thérèse of Lisieux
