Kevin DeCleene

Senior Director of Parish Services

Deacon Kevin DeCleene serves as the senior director of parish services/pastoral leader at the parish. Kevin humbly commented that, “many experiences have prepared me, such as a recent commitment to become Norbertine Associates (achieved with my wife JoDee), graduate of the St. Norbert Masters of Theological Studies ‘12, Green Bay Diocesan Deacon ‘08 with assignments at St. Francis, St. Mary, and Nativity.”

Kevin and his wife JoDee are proud parents of Arik and Adam and their wives Cara and Jessica, all graduates of St. Norbert. They are further blessed with daughter Lindsay, wife Sarah and three grandchildren. Kevin was assigned to Nativity in ‘14 after previously serving at St. Mary and St. Francis Parishes of De Pere since ‘94. He was involved in various leadership roles such as servant leader of social concerns, yard care ministry, confirmation youth formation, morning prayer group, Teen’s Encounter Christ, Ecumenical Partnership for Housing, Habitat for Humanity, marriage preparation, compassionate presence with families that have lost loved ones, and many other ministries including various social justice activities, coordinating monthly dinners at the NEW Community Shelter and as an annulment advocate.

Kevin retired from Schneider after a 33-year career, served in such roles as global business leader of major accounts and most recently as intermodal equipment and maintenance manager. He brought the Holy Spirit to others by serving as a bridge between the church and his coworkers. Kevin journeyed with a young couple who lost their child after an eight-month pregnancy, provided family support when a co-worker died, and humbly and successfully walking with a man that was depressed to see him to a return to prayer, the church, and to being of service to others.  He has also helped Schneider co-workers and Parish members feel God’s Grace and healing Spirit through discussion and effective processes.

Kevin approaches with a spirit of radical hospitality building relationships and working with diverse groups to achieve results in both a professional and parish settings. Kevin’s resume includes:
