President's Commission on the Status of Women at St. Norbert College

In May 2006, President William Hynes announced the establishment of a President’s Commission on the Status of Women at St. Norbert College. The President charged the Commission with advising the President on how St. Norbert College can improve the climate for women. The Commission’s work includes consulting with the St. Norbert College community to identify major concerns about the status of and climate for women, and making recommendations to the President for concrete ways of addressing such concerns. The President will review and circulate recommendations for discussion by the community prior to adoption and action. 

The Commission’s members represent a wide range of perspectives and expertise from a variety of campus constituencies. The group undertook its work in late fall 2006.
