What is Rainbow Alliance?
"Celebrating diversity and love without boundaries"
Rainbow Alliance focuses on education and advocacy in support of LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning) individuals and issues at St. Norbert College, as well as in the local and larger communities.
All students are welcome and encouraged to participate in Rainbow Alliance, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
Week of Awareness and Day of Silence
April 21-25, 2008
- Monday, April 21 - 6 p.m. - Pennings Activity Center -
Safe Zone Ally Training Session and 7-9 p.m. - Significant Other Soiree, come and go as you please
- Tuesday, April 22 - Campus-wide poster project
- Wednesday, April 23 - 7 p.m. - Campus Center - Student Forum on LGBTQ and Ally Life
- Thursday, April 24 - Campus-wide informational displays, Lawrence King benefit concert
- Friday, April 25 -
National Day of Silence, all day until 5 p.m., Breaking the Silence at 5 p.m. in front of Main Hall followed by a concert at the Campus Center
