2007-2008

October 11, 2007 - National Coming Out Day 2007 - Distributed around 400 new rainbow armbands with information cards, and "Come Out as an Ally" Ally Training Session in the Campus Center certifies 20 new Allies!

October 12, 2007 - Rainbow Intro Night - A casual, fun social event at the Knight Owl Cafe let interested individuals learn more about the organization and spend time with members.

October 15, 2007 - Safe Zone Ally Training for Beyond Borders - 19 new Allies certified!
2006-2007

October 11, 2006 - National Coming Out Day 2006 - Distributed 250 rainbow armbands with information cards as a show of solidarity, person to person, all in one day!
Winner of the 2007 Norbertine Leadership and Service Award ("Nubbie") for Outstanding Organization Program!

February 2007 - Significant Other Soiree - hosted a social and education event at the Knight Owl Cafe about communication and healthy relationships.

February 14, 2007 - A Rainbow Valentine's - Campus-wide chalking wishing individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities a happy Valentine's day!

April 2007 - Week of Awareness/Day of Silence - Led up to Day of Silence with a week of activities, informational displays, Safe Zone Ally Training, and a discussion panel of LGBT individuals. Participated in the National
Day of Silence observation, April 18, 2007.

All Year - Safe Zone Ally Training Program started - Beginning with a presentation at a Residential Life staff inservice and ideas from the group, the
Safe Zone Ally Training Program begins to certify Allies on campus

December 5, 1997 - Official Recognition - After a year of discussion and debate, Rainbow Alliance was officially recognized as a St. Norbert College student organization.
