Applying For a Self Designed Major

Students can pursue two types of self-designed majors at SNC. The Humanities and Fine Arts major allows students to develop a program of 15 complementary courses within the Humanities Division. All other self-designed majors are described as Individualized Majors. Both options require a student to develop a proposal and seek formal approval. Applications must be submitted by the end of the sophomore year.

Students can not declare these options on the major/minor declaration form. Instead, they should enter an UNDECLARED option on the form until their application is approved or rejected. For more information and application material on these options select the appropriate link below.
