Annual Notification of Directory Information

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act designates certain information related to students as "Directory Information" and gives the College the right to disclose such information to anyone inquiring without having to ask students for permission, unless the students specifically request in writing that such information not be made public without their written consent. The categories of "Directory Information" are listed below:
Category I
Name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, dates of attendance, class.
Category II
Previous institution(s) attended, major field of study, awards, honors (includes Dean's List), degree (s) conferred (including dates).
Category III
Past and present participation in officially recognized sports and activities, physical factors (height, weight of athletes), date and place of birth.
If you wish to withhold the disclosure of any category of "Directory Information" you must fill out a Student Request to Prevent Disclosure Form which is available in the Office of the Registrar, 220 John Minahan Science Hall. This form must be received in the Office of the Registrar within the first two weeks of each semester. If it is not received in that office by that date, all directory information will be disclosed for the remainder of the semester.
