Corday Goddard

Professional profile

I believe that when you're asked, you should serve, and so I always try to be an eager participant in many areas of campus. I have participated in Make a Difference Day, Into the Streets and 100 Men Who Cook. I have served as an FYE advisor on many occasions, and serve on a number of committees.

I think my job is to be an advocate for students living on campus. I take my responsibility to provide them with a safe, comfortable and fun living experience, very seriously. I know students spend a lot of money to live on campus, and so we also work very hard to make the on-campus experience one where students feel they are getting what they've paid for. I think in the residence halls, in particular, we need to pay attention to Abbot Penning's call to "Let us love one another."

My wish for all students at St. Norbert would be that they are changed by their experience here, that they get connected to their communities, that the community is changed by their involvement and that they learn enough to leave us ready to change the world.

I worked at Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. for seven years before coming to work at St. Norbert.
