Parents have taken sports and turned them into a pressure-packed, boring environment unfit for kids – they've made it adult-like.  This presentation by Bill Gosse, the President and Co-Founder of TeamScore Inc, explains how kids want to be able to play again and not have their world so structured.  Gosse explains what happens when children aren't allowed to play, but have to follow what adults have laid out before them.  From turning to video games to hide from high-stakes pressure, to learning how to use anger to get what they want, the adult model for play is pushing kids in an undesirable direction, and we need to change it as soon as possible.  After all, kids just want to play.
