This presentation addresses the attempt to create a national law for the trading of event tickets akin to the uniform commercial code (UCC) developed in the 1940's to facilitate interstate commerce. In particular the outcome from a March, 2012 meeting in Washington with leading industry representatives and Congressional members is discussed.
