On behalf of the Green Bay Packers and St. Norbert College, we welcome
you to the second "A Mirror of our Culture: Sport and Society in
America" conference. We are proud to again co-sponsor this international
event, a rare partnership between an NFL team and an institution of
higher education.
We invite sports academics and professionals from sports-related fields
to join us May 22-24, 2012. The conference will explore the many social,
cultural and historical implications of sports in the American
experience. It will feature nationally known keynote speakers,
presentations of academic papers, panel discussions, and exhibits. The
events will be held at both the St. Norbert campus and historic Lambeau
Field.
