Our facilities and capabilities
CATI capabilities
Computer-Aided Telephone Interviewing (CATI) is software designed for use with telephone surveys. CATI allows trained interviewers to read a questionnaire to determine whether or not the program is effective, providing desired results, with a computer that controls random dialing and respondent screening, while also tracking interviewer productivity. The CATI program operates on a local area network (LAN) designed to communicate and exchange information from interviewing stations to a supervisor station that monitors up to 15 stations at the Strategic Research Institute (SRI).
Data processing and analysis
The Strategic Research Institute can provide data processing and analysis services. In some instances organizations have collected data but are unable to have adequate staff to organize and analyze the data. In such cases the SRI can step in to assist organizations with data processing and analysis.
Focus group facility
The SRI has our own focus group facility located in the Bemis International Center. The facility includes a client room, recording and video taping capabilities as well as food service for focus group participants and clients.
