The Norbertine Leadership and Service Awards
 

Mission
The Norbertine Leadership and Service Awards, sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs, recognize selfless devotion to improving St. Norbert College and the greater community, to going above and beyond in appreciating human differences, to establishing connections between students, faculty, and staff, and to living the College mission.

Awards

  • The Norbertine Leadership and Service Awards will offer two categories of awards this year.  The Student Life Award will recognize students' contributions over the past 12 months and is based solely on nomination.  Awards of Distinction will recognize students' contributions during their entire time at SNC.  For more details see FAQ.
  • The Student Life Award will be selected based only on the information provided by the nominator.  Nominate a Student!
  • Who’s Who will be selected based on either a nomination for the Student Life Award or an application completed by the student.
  • The Awards of Distinction (except Who’s Who) require an application that includes a resume and two short answer questions.  The Harvey Scholarship requires an additional essay and the WFIC Scholarships require a one page biography. 
  • New awards are under consideration. 
  • See the award descriptions for more information and criteria for each award.

Please consider nominating students you have had the pleasure to teach or work with that embody the qualities noted above. Once a student is nominated, they are sent a letter of congratulations along with an invitation to apply for an Award of Distinction. Award recipients are selected by committees of staff, faculty and students. The whole process culminates at the awards ceremony in April.

Award Deadlines

  • Nominations and Applications are CLOSED for 2009.  Thank you for your interest and please check back in January 2010. 
  • Nominations for the Student Life Award are due February 9, 2009 at 12:00 p.m.
  • Applications for Awards of Distinction are due February 16, 2009 at 12:00 p.m.
  • Award recipients will be notified by April 3, 2009

Saturday, April 24, 2010
Sensenbrenner Memorial Union
