The Norbertine Leadership and Service Awards
 

Award Descriptions

The Norbertine Leadership and Service Awards are open to all SNC students by nomination and qualifications.

  • Who’s Who will be selected based on either a nomination for the Exemplary Leadership Awards or an application completed by the student.
  • The Awards of Distinction (except Who's Who) require an application that includes a resume and two short answer questions.  The Ashmore and Harvey Memorial Scholarship, the Golden Family Endowed Scholarship and the Rath Distinguished Merit Scholarship also require an additional essay.

Beloved Community Social Justice Award

Beloved Community Social Justice Award

Any Student NA Certificate and donation to charity of recipient's choice.
  • Given annually to one student and one faculty or staff member who demonstrates a commitment to making SNC a more just, equitable community, for more of our members.

  • Please note, not all awards are offered yearly and new awards are also under consideration
  • Students apply directly for all Awards of Distinction

  • Open and ecumenical attitude toward all spiritual traditions
Golden Family Endowed Scholarship

First-year student

  • Participation, service and leadership in high school, college, and in the community
  • Serves others through innovative practices in business, education, health care or science
Leadership in Action Junior 2.75 Scholarship
  • Student who has helped create positive change at SNC and has demonstrated leadership within a campus organization, internship, work or community service
Harry Maier Community Service Scholarship Sophomore/ Junior 2.5 Scholarship
  • Outstanding service off campus in the Green Bay metropolitan community (such as United Way, Salvation Army or other service organizations)
  • Preference is given to students in Communications or Business related fields
Mel Nicks Award Sophomore/ Junior 2.5  Cash Award
  • Active service, leadership and volunteerism within the College and/or span of the global community such as organizing student sports or other activities, fund raising for college programs, providing for basic human needs, new outreach and leadership projects, etc.
Richard C. Rankin Senior 2.5 Certificate
  • A senior who made significant or unique contributions to enhance student life on campus
Rath Distinguished Merit Scholarship Sophomore/ Junior
