Academic Service-Learning Assistant - Village Project — Sturzl Center for Community Service & Learning

Duties:
The Academic Service-Learning Assistant for the Village Project will co-lead the coordination and implementation of the Village Project, an academic service-learning course component of EDUC 130. The position will also co-coordinate Kids to Campus, an Advisement Day event where children in the after school programs visit SNC.

Assist with logistics such as, but not limited to:
+ Completion of Memorandum of Understandings and waivers as needed
+ Creation of Site Binders/Nametags
+ Monitoring attendance at sites, orientations and trainings
+ Gas gift card applications and recognition of volunteers

Assist with development and implementation of online and on campus trainings

Assist with coordination/facilitation of preparation and reflection sessions

Act as a liaison between faculty, students, and community partners as needed through regular communication and service site visits.

Attend Village Project Advisory Group meetings as available

Assist with program evaluations and data analysis

Co-coordinate the Kids to Campus event(s)
