Hispanic Music Festival – Tuesday Nov 12, 6-8:30pm, Knight Owl
This festival will present different types of Hispanic music from countries around the world, along with providing samples of each country’s cuisine. Join Spanish Club in the Knight Owl Café for a night of music, food, and fun! This event will be a part of International Education Week.
Movie "The Official Story" -Tuesday Nov 19, 6:30pm
After the end of the Dirty War, a high school teacher sets out to find out who the mother of her adopted daughter is. This film explores the aftermath of the Dirty Wars in Argentina.
Movie "Crossing Arizona" - Monday Nov 25, 6:30pm, Mulva library
This film presents a collection of personal accounts stemming from Arizona's illegal immigration crisis. With all the events happening in immigration legislation today, this film is a great way to see many perspectives on what undocumented immigrants go through to get into the United States.

The Spanish Club aims to provide students with an opportunity to gain further knowledge and understanding of the Hispanic culture. it seeks to unite both Spanish-speaking students of all different levels and non-Spanish speaking students to gain experience with and to increase their awareness of Hispanic traditions, customs, and language in the local community and the world.
