FIE Internship
Program:
- Small program (300-450 American students)
- Most students take part in Internship Pathway, consisting of four classes and an internship, service learning, or research placement.
- All students take one of two “Key” Classes - British Life and Culture or British Culture and Visual Media to earn credit for GS 10. Field trips are included in the classes.
- Two or three other classes taken from wide range of choices in business, communications, political science and history.
- Understanding Civilizations: Islam and the West satisfies GS 11, and includes four-day trip to Istanbul, Turkey.
- Most classes are front-loaded in first seven weeks of semester.
- After week-long break, students take part in internship, service learning, or research placements three days a week for seven weeks.
- Accommodations: Student Residences in Kensington.
