Lancaster
Lancaster University (16,000 students) is one of Britain’s top 10 research universities and is consistently rated highly for the quality of its teaching. With a lively campus environment, Lancaster University offers a great social life without the impersonality of a large city. It is about a 3-1/2 hour train ride north of London.
Program:
- Fall Program offers International Summer School (usually GS 10) taken with other study abroad and international students, then three classes with University students
- Especially strong in science, with many classes offered for Pre-Med students. Also good for Art, Business, English, Environmental Science, History, Philosophy, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology and all upper General Education Requirements.
- Spring program is four or five classes with University students
- Accommodations: Standard room in one of nine residential Colleges, offering social, cultural and athletic activities.

Fall 2012: August 16 - December 14 (Arrival Aug 14 or 15 TBC) Spring 2013: January 9 - June 28 (Arrival on January 8)
