 Budapest Semesters in Mathematics (Budapest, Hungary)
Program Basics
Mathematics and Computer Science majors spend a semester in Budapest while learning from Hungarian scholars. The Budapest Semesters in Mathematics courses are taught on the College International campus of the Technical University Budapest, located near the historic city center.
Academics
Each semester is comprised of 14 weeks of instruction and one week of exams, with each class meeting three to four times per week.
Courses offered include: Advanced Abstract Algebra; Complex Functions; Combinatorics 1; Conjecture and Proof; Differential Geometry; Functional Analysis; Topics in Geometry; Mathematical Physics; Number Theory 1; Real Functions and Measure Theory; and Theory of of Computing. The Babilon Language School offers an optional two-week intensive language course in Hungarian prior to the beginning of each semester. Accommodations
Students may rent furnished apartments with other program participants. Alternatively, students may live with a Hungarian host family for a deeper level of cultural immersion.

Requirements
- Must have completed MAT233: Calculus & Analytic Geometry 3 and/or MAT306: Abstract Algebra
