USFQ is a private, liberal arts college located in Cumbayá, a sunny, quiet valley located 20 minutes from the city center, Quito, a vibrant capital city with a population of 1.44 million. USFQ is home to approximately 2800 students. Ecuador is an unspoiled paradise with a great diversity of landscapes from snow capped mountains to pristine beaches.
Program:
*Students enroll in 5 classes at USFQ
*Most courses are in Spanish although there are some courses in English.
*Wide variety of courses: Spanish Language and Culture; Anthropology, Art, Business, Communications, Education, Environmental Studies, History, Music (Berklee College of Music has a branch at USFQ), Natural Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Political Science, Psychology, Sociology and more.
*Students live with host family
