Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program
This scholarship provides awards for U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving federal Pell Grant funding at a 2-year or 4-year college or university to participate in study abroad programs worldwide. The Gilman Scholarship Program seeks to diversify the kinds of students who study abroad, along with the destinations where they study.

Boren Awards for International Study
The National Security Education Program (NSEP) David L. Boren Scholarship offers a unique opportunity for U.S. undergraduates to study abroad. NSEP awards scholarships to American students for study of world regions critical to U.S. interests (including Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America & the Caribbean, and the Middle East). The countries of Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are excluded. Contact Jeremy Doughty for additional information.

Diversity Abroad: Scholarships
DiversityAbroad.com partners with several organizations to offer study abroad grants and scholarships.

Emily Galotta Memorial Scholarship
Awarded on an annual basis for female art majors or minors. Contact Rosemary Sands for details.

Foundation for Asia Pacific Education: Scholarships
Students studying abroad in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, and the Philippines may apply. Scholarship amounts range from $500 to $1500.

Institute of International Education: IIE Passport  |  Study Abroad Funding
A comprehensive database of study abroad scholarships, fellowships, and grants. You can search by country or subject to find the study abroad funding information that you need.

Rotary International: Ambassadorial Scholarships
The purpose of the Ambassadorial Scholarships program is to further international understanding and friendly relations among people of different countries and geographical regions.

SIT Study Abroad: Scholarships
Students participating in SIT Study Abroad programs throughout Africa and Latin America are eligible for scholarships ranging from $500 to $5000. About one-third of scholarship applicants receive financial assistance.

Asia

Association of Teachers of Japanese Bridging Project
Approximately 100 scholarships are offered annually to American undergraduate students participating in study abroad programs in Japan.

Africa

Interstudy: Scholarships
Students participating in Interstudy programs in South Africa may apply for scholarships ranging from $500 - $1000.

Europe

American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS): Scholarships
Each year, more than $600,000 in scholarships is awarded to students participating in AIFS programs. Currently, St. Norbert College partners with AIFS in Austria and France.

British Universities Transatlantic Exchange Association (BUTEX): Scholarship
Each year BUTEX awards eight scholarships to North American students studying abroad in the United Kingdom for one semester or the whole academic year. The value of each scholarship is £500.

Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD): German Academic Exchange Service
Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD), or German Academic Exchange Service, offers a wide range of opportunities to students, scholars, and universities of the United States and Canada, from undergraduate students to post-doctoral scholars, for study and research in Germany.

Margaret McNamara Poirier Scholarship
Awarded annually to students studying in Ireland. Contact Joyce Tullbane for details.

The Sharif Rahman Memorial Scholarship
Students studying at Foundation for International Education (FIE) programs in England and Ireland may apply for scholarships worth $1000.

Study Abroad Italy (SAI): Scholarships
Scholarships are available for students participating in SAI programs in Florence, Rome, and Sicily.

Latin America

ProWorld: Scholarships
ProWorld has assembled a helpful Scholarship and Fundraising Kit for students studying abroad in Peru.
