Regardless of the approved SNC Study Abroad program that you choose, you will be charged tuition at the current St. Norbert College rate. If housing and/or a meal plan are included in your program, you will be charged at the St. Norbert rates for room and/or board. Common additional costs include: the SNC Study Abroad administrative fee ($400), passport and visa expenses (if applicable), airfare, and personal expenses abroad. Your study abroad advisor will provide you with a Program Costs sheet that will outline the costs for your program.
Students are able to apply their financial aid package for one semester of off-campus study. Your Financial Aid paperwork must be current in order to ensure that it will be factored
into the costs assessed when statements are issued. Please contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.
Note: Tuition exchange students, Washington Semester students, students from other institutions, and students wishing to study abroad for two semesters should refer to the Policies page for more information.
Students will be billed for their program fee by the St. Norbert College Finance Department. Billing procedures will continue as if you were on-campus.
In order to determine your eligibility for a study abroad
program, your tuition and fee account must be in a
paid-in-full status. Payment-in-full is due by the stated
due date. Failure to comply may result in a delay of departure or inability to study abroad. Academic transcripts, which are a required component of all study abroad applications, will be held if any balance exists on your tuition and fee
If you have any questions about billing of study abroad fees through
the Bursar Office, please feel free to contact the Bursar Office.
You are encouraged to use the Budget Worksheet, along with the program cost information that is available on each program page, to determine an accurate amount of money that you will need for your study abroad experience. Please also utilize the Resource Library in the Study Abroad Office. By referencing the Program Evaluations from study abroad returnees, you will be able to see how much money previous study abroad students spent while participating in your program.
