Phi Beta Delta International Photo Contest

Entry Requirements

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT PHOTOS FOR 2008 IS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 AT 4:30 P.M.

Entries:

Each person may submit up to three entries.
Each entry should be submitted digitally along with our application form as well as in print form. Include a commentary (subject of photograph, anecdote about picture, relation of subject to experience abroad) and a title. If these are not included your photo will not be considered (please put some thought into this, as it may be used for captioning for the exhibit, the web site, and other future publications).
All three photos may be submitted with one application form - DO NOT submit one form for each photo unless you are only submitting one photo.
You must also submit your photos in print form (MUST BE SUBMITTED IN BOTH FORMATS).
Photographic prints may be submitted in color, or black and white, as an 8 x 10. Photos must be submitted on print paper for judging purposes.
Prints must be clearly marked on the back with your name and the photo title.
Participants will be withdrawn from contest if guidelines are not followed as stated above. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made. We must have both your online submission form and hard-copy photos for your entry to be complete.

Participants:

The contest is open to all SNC students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

Winners:

One 'Best of Show' will be awarded. The winner will have their photo framed and displayed on the third floor of the Bemis International Center. An exhibit of all photos will be on display at the campus center during International Education Week.

Responsibility/Liability:

The Study Abroad Office will be responsible for producing enlargements from the photos and displaying them. The finished enlargements will become the property of Study Abroad.

Rights Granted:

Entrants are required to grant St. Norbert College the royalty-free right to reproduce and use digital copies and prints of submitted entries in college related publications and promotions.
