Lancaster
Lancaster University is one of Britain’s top 10 research universities and is consistently rated highly for the quality of its teaching. With a lively campus environment, Lancaster University offers a great social life without the impersonality of a large city. It is about a 3-1/2 hour train ride north of London.
Program:
- Fall Program offers Pre-Session (usually GS 10) taken with other study abroad and international students, then three classes with University students
- Especially strong in science, with many classes offered for Pre-Med students. Also good for Art, Business, English, Environmental Science, History, Philosophy, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology and all upper General Education Requirements.
- Spring program is four classes with University students
- Accommodations: Standard room in one of nine Colleges, offering social, cultural and athletic activities.

Fall 2008: August 14 - December 12
Spring 2009: (Arrival on) January 6 - June 26 (Exams usually end second week of June; includes 4-5 week spring break)
Fall 2009: August 13 - December 11
