John Cabot University - Rome
Program:
- John Cabot University was founded in 1972 as a four-year college of liberal arts and sciences, with all courses taught in English (except Italian language and literature). The main campus is situated near St. Peter’s and the Vatican in the Trastevere quarter, with a fine-arts annex on the other side of the Tiber River.
John Cabot students come from all over the world. At any given time, approximately 50 different countries are represented. People from varied backgrounds, different faiths, all continents and all races make up the student body and provide a rich and unique opportunity for true international communication and understanding.
- GPA Requirement: 2.8 cumulative
- Credits/Courses: SNC students typically take 5 classes (15 credits). Although an Italian language class is not required, it is highly recommended. Students must earn a C or better in each class in order to be granted SNC credit. Classes are available to satisfy requirements for many major, minor and general education classes.
- Housing: students share a double room in apartments for 4 to 10 students. Apartments are fully furnished and all include a kitchen. No meal plan is available. Apartments are located throughout Rome (5 to 25 minute commute on foot or by bus).
