Memorable Experience:
It is absolutely impossible to say that just one of my experiences is the most memorable. I would say as a whole, meeting and living with my English townhouse mates has been the most exciting and everlasting memory. The friends you make abroad will never be forgotten, and you will most likely keep in touch with them as time goes on.

Benefits of Studying Abroad:
The most significant benefit of studying abroad is the experience. The ability to completely be on your own and become even more independent of family and friends is reviving. For academic purposes, it is challenging to accommodate to the school’s way of learning, but it makes you more aware of different educational systems and a culture’s way of educating. Professionally, the experience abroad will help your resume and your skills to work with people from all over the world. When abroad, it is more likely that you will run into and meet people of various ethnic backgrounds, and this in turn gives you a personal understanding of others that will benefit your professional field.

Advice & Tips:
I would suggest for those who are considering studying abroad to just jump in and do it! It is an amazing experience. There are emotional roller coasters, but it is all worth it in the end – for the people you meet and the places you travel. It will feel like you are living another life, but it will only make you stronger when you return back to St. Norbert.
