Memorable Experience:
One of my most memorable experiences would have to be when I spent a week in New Zealand. New Zealand has such a rich culture and a prominent aboriginal history that explains what New Zealand is all about. It was truly amazing to see such a drastically different culture.

Benefits of Studying Abroad:
Studying abroad has helped me become more aware of our world from a global perspective. I would say that I have grown in my ability to adapt to changing environments and have increased my independence.

My advice: Study Abroad!

Don't necessarily pick your study abroad program based on where your friends might be going. Make sure to pick your program based on what you hope to get out of it. The best thing that happened to me was going on a program by myself. This forced me to step out of my comfort zone and meet new people. Also, remember to always keep an open mind.
