September 23, 2009 Internet Service Interruptions Next week, St. Norbert College will be connected to a second Internet provider, which will increase our Internet bandwidth, provide greater reliability, and allow us to update our Internet service more quickly in the future. The installation of this additional connection will require two interruptions in Internet service. The first interruption will take place on Thursday, September 24 and will likely only be a few minutes in length sometime between 5 and 6 pm. The second interruption will be on Monday, September 28. This will be the time when we actually install the new connection. That interruption will take up to an hour between 5 and 6 pm. Each interruption will disconnect the College from the Internet, although you will be able to access our campus resources such as e-mail and our web server from on campus.
