October 1, 2009 Additional Internet Service We installed new equipment to add a second Internet provider on Monday evening, and connected to the new provider yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon. The College has increased Internet capacity by 50%, from 40Mbps to 60Mbps. We continue to monitor usage as we adjust the load between the two providers to provide the best performance. We anticipate that the overall Internet experience for faculty, staff, and students will be improved. We manage Internet traffic to prioritize access to those services that address the primary needs of the College.
