Update on the Citrix lab/classroom problems

Our vendor is on campus this week to help us solve the problems that we've been having with Citrix, the system which runs our lab and classroom computers. We have made some significant progress, but the problems are not yet resolved.

We've made a change to one of the Citrix servers, and a small group of faculty, staff, and students are now testing that server. Once that server has been tested further and deemed to be functioning properly, we will make the same change on all of the other servers. If you'd like to help us test this new server, please reply to this message and let us know.

We are not certain if this change will resolve all of the Citrix problems. We suspect that there are other smaller issues that we haven't yet identified, so even after we update all of the Citrix servers, we will be watching those servers, collecting feedback, and working to resolve any remaining issues.

We will send another update when we have more information.
