    Computer Labs & Technology-enhanced Rooms

    Technology Support Services operates computer labs in Cofrin Hall, the Bemis International Center, JMS, the Bush Art Center, and the Mulva Library. For hours, see the Lab Hours page. Some of these labs can be rented for a fee; see Computer Lab Rental below. These labs have approximately 200 computers, both  Windows and Macintosh, resulting in approximately a 10 to 1 student to computer ratio. All computers are connected to the campus network, which provides access to the Internet, campus servers, and network storage. All labs include laser printers, and some also house special-purpose equipment for various courses. There are additional discipline-specific labs managed by individual departments.

    St. Norbert College also has a number of classrooms and meeting rooms with technology such as computers, projection equipment, smartboards, and video conferencing. Many of these rooms can be rented for a fee. For more information, use the reservations contacts listed below.

    Computer Lab Policies and Rules

    • Campus computer labs are for use by St. Norbert College students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
    • Food and beverages can damage computer equipment, and therefore are not allowed in the computer labs.
    • The first priority for computer lab equipment is instruction and class assignments. During busy times, you may be asked to relinquish your computer if you are not doing class work.
    • In labs with specialized equipment and/or software, students needing that equipment/software for course work have priority over all other uses, and may be asked to relinquish the computer if not using that equipment/software.
    • Copying our software is illegal. Don't do it.
    • We are here to help. If you have any questions or problems, please ask a lab consultant for assistance.
    • All users of College computing and networking equipment are expected to adhere to the St. Norbert College Appropriate Use Policy at all times.
