QUICK LINKS:

Accessing the SNC Network

There are several different ways to access files stored on the College's computer network (the M:, G:, and J: drives) from off campus or College Residence Halls:

  • A web-based interface called NetStorage, which can be used on Windows or Mac. [ NetStorage instructions ]
  • NetDrive, a free program which must be installed (Windows only). [ NetDrive instructions ]
  • File transfer programs WS-FTP (Windows) or Fetch (Macs), which also must be installed. [ FTP instructions ]

Students may also need to know how to work with files on the G drive if their instructors are using it. For instructions, see the handout The G Drive: Students.

For general information about College network drives, see the handout Network Drives.

For information about the best places to store your files, see the handout Where to store your files.

If you don't find what you're looking for here, please see out Handouts area.
