Professional Web Sites

Faculty and staff may have professional web sites for materials like vitae, syllabi, research information, etc. Professional web sites reside on the home.snc.edu server, and may be maintained via WordPress. WordPress is a system for publishing information on the web. It's geared toward “blogging,” but can also be used to create pages that can be made into non-blog web sites. The use of WordPress is optional – professional web sites can also be maintained without WordPress for those who know how to create them "the old fashioned way." To request a site on the professional home page server, complete the Professional Home Page Request form.

To request that a theme or plugin be added to your site, fill out the Professional Home Page Add-on Request form.
