About Knight Theatre

Knight Theatre is a student-run theatre group, with minimum faculty involvement, that presents one full-length musical per academic year. Students are directly responsible for acting, directing, set design and construction, sound and lighting design, marketing and administrative tasks.

“The Drowsy Chaperone” at St. Norbert College
Feb. 1-5, 2012

St. Norbert College's student-run Knight Theatre will present “The Drowsy Chaperone” on Feb. 1- 3 at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 4 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and at 2:00 p.m. on Feb. 5 at the Webb Theatre.

The curtain rises on a present-day musical theatre fanatic eager to tell you about his favorite Broadway musical -- “The Drowsy Chaperone.” Man in Chair is the ultimate Everyfan and “Drowsy” is his guilty pleasure.

As he begins listening to the rare cast recording, the show, set in 1928, cleverly and magically blooms to life in his home, telling the hilarious tale of a pampered Broadway starlet and her debonair fiance, an overzealous producer, a dizzy chorus girl, the Latin lover and a couple of bumbling gangsters. Ruses are played, mischief occurs, and the plot spins everyone into musical comedy thrill!

Directed by junior Alicia Skrivanie (Green Bay, WI) with musical direction by senior Ona Callahan (Green Bay, WI), and senior Kevin McGillivray (Green Bay, WI), "The Drowsy Chaperone also features the following actors:
