Sigma Xi Chapter
The mission of the Sigma Xi chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon at St. Norbert College is
to assist in the development of men through our guiding principles of love, charity, and esteem.
We strive to provide opportunities where we foster social, academic, and professional growth
through our strength as a small, private, and liberal arts college community.
"I'm never going to join a fraternity!" - This is a comment that many men have made at St. Norbert College, mostly because they
do not know what they are missing. Whether interested or not, TKE probably has something to offer you. We were established on campus in 1987
and TKE has the largest number of chapters internationally, which can create wonderful networking opportunities after college. The TEKE boys
have lots of fun activities such as dances, grill outs, and sporting events with and without other groups. We also have things like Academic
Assistance Program, Dinners, and Brotherhood Retreats. TKE has done a wide variety of service projects, such as "Make a Difference Day" and Relay
for Life. We also do a lot of fundraising so that our dues are low and we can purchase other things for the fraternity. Among all these things TKE
has a wonderful alumni base that has been very helpful in our development as a fraternity the last couple years. TKE has all this and much more
to offer the male undergraduate, so check us out!
One of the many goals of the Sigma Xi chapter of TKE is to create lifelong relationships that enhance educational, interpersonal, community, and
professional success. We regard mental stimulation and the acquisition of a knowledge of men and a proper conception of their relation to one another
of the utmost importance. This knowledge cannot be obtained in text books or lecture halls, but only through genuine social interaction. It is for
this reason that our structure thrives on the absolute interdependence of man via community service, fundraising, and social opportunities such as
Homecoming, Red Carnation Ball, Formals, Dances, and get-togethers with other campus groups. These activities, along with frequent TKE dinners, are
a staple of life as a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon at St. Norbert College.
The TKE Vision is to create lifelong relationships that enhance
educational, interpersonal, community and professional success.
The TKE Mission is to aid men in their mental, moral and social development for life.
The TKE Purpose is to contribute to the advancement of society through the personal growth
of our members, and service to others.
