TRiO consists of programs that are federally funded to help low income families enter and graduate college. These programs are funded under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965. TRiO programs include Upward Bound, Upward Bound Math and Science, Veterans Upward Bound, Student Support Services, Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program, Educational Opportunity Centers and Talent Search. |

Mid-America Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel (MAEOPP) is a recognized 501(c)3 non-profit consortium of professionals with the specific purpose of leveling the playing field of educational opportunity for first generation, low income and disabled students. MAEOPP is the representative professional body for colleges, universities and agencies that host federally-funded TRiO educational opportunity programs within ten states in the great Midwest. Formally established in 1975, MAEOPP advocates on behalf of those persons least likely to enroll in and obtain a college degree at our nation's higher education institutions and is a member organization of the internationally recognized COE. |

The Council for Opportunity in Education (COE) is a nonprofit organization, established in 1981, dedicated to furthering the expansion of educational opportunities throughout the United States. Through its numerous membership services, the council works in conjunction with colleges, universities and agencies that host TRiO programs to specifically help low income Americans enter college and graduate. The mission of the council is to advance and defend the ideal of equal educational opportunity in post-secondary education. As such, the focus of the council is assuring that the least advantaged segments of the American population have a realistic chance to enter and graduate from a post-secondary institution. A secondary purpose of the council is to provide a voice and a political vehicle for administrators, counselors and teachers who are employed in institutionally-, state- and federally-funded opportunity programs, especially those professionals with TRiO programs. |

Wisconsin Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel (WAEOPP) is a community of professionals committed to improving our participant’s success in gaining access to and graduating from post-secondary education. WAEOPP partners with TRiO, schools and other educational opportunity programs, that assist in the preparation of low income, first generation students for success in post-secondary education. |
