The Upward Bound program is a pre-college program that provides support service to high school students that meet federal income guidelines and are potential first-generation college students.
Our goal is to motivate and encourage students to successfully complete high school and apply to a post-secondary institution. With the help of two academic counselor/coordinators and an office manager, we plan and provide academic, career, social and cultural activities and opportunities that foster learning and develop the skills students need to be successful. |

Job responsibilities
- Design, supervise and evaluate program component and be familiar with TRIO, financial aid and college admission processes.
- Oversee the selection of eligible participants and monitor progress and involvement in the program
- Hire train and supervise full and part-time staff
- Develop and maintain ongoing communication with students, parents, target schools and the college, local and professional community
- Prepare and submit grant proposal and manage program budget based on the college and federal regulations.
