Exploring Ministry
The Program of Faith, Learning & Vocation supports those men and women who are exploring professional ministry as their life’s calling.
Ministry interns
Enhance your off-campus ministry internship with financial support and on-going opportunities for discussion with your peers.
Be a part of a supportive group that considers topics such as:
- How do I know if I’m called to ministry?
- What are the challenges of ministry today?
- What gifts and knowledge does ministry require?
- How am I enriched by the ministry I do?
- What does it mean if ministry is my profession?

Summer ministry awards
For those students working in long-term ministry positions or faith-based service programs over the summer, we offer scholarship support and retreat experiences.
Frame your summer experience a retreat experience:
- Enter into your summer with specific ministry questions to explore.
- End the summer by joining fellow award recipients on a retreat in which you can reflect on your experiences and what they tell you about the ways you are called to share your gifts in the world.

Master of Theological Studies formation opportunities
Our program collaborates with the Master of Theological Studies Program to offer formation opportunities to our students engaged in graduate work.
The last such opportunity was "An Evening with Scott Bader-Saye" where we discussed his book
Following Jesus in a Culture of Fear, chapters 1, 2, 4 & 5.
