to the Joan P. Schaupp Women's Center at St. Norbert College is a collective voice for
those who share a commitment to issues concerning women. The Center
provides resources and educational programming to the college and local
community, and seeks to empower women through healthy relationships and
lifestyles.
Since its first full year of service in 1996, the center has been
available as a vital educational resource within the College community.
Throughout the academic year, the Women's Center will provide resources
and programs that engage women in discussion, self-reflection, and
collaborative service. These programs are designed to address issues
of gender inequality within an interactive, open learning environment,
as well as programs and activities promoting the education, support and
empowerment of women.
One of our featured programs held each spring, the Phenomenal Woman Conference,
allows women the unique opportunity to participate in interactive
sessions and hear from insightful speakers.
It is our hope that through our enthusiastic staff, unique
programming, and facilities, we may meet our goal to educate, support,
and empower women within the St. Norbert College community. The center
exists as both an educational resource to men and women and as a
catalyst for change.
