Schaupp Women’s Center Phenomenal Woman Conference Saturday, April 17, 2010 St. Norbert College Bemis International Center About the conference The conference will begin with registration and move into a delicious lunch, a presentation by the keynote speaker, options for three interactive workshops dealing with advocating, supporting and empowering women, and a closing session with time for music and relaxed conversation. There will also be great gift bags, vendors and prizes. The Women's Center is happy to announce this year's Phenomenal Woman Conference keynote speaker, Justice Janine Geske. Justice Geske is the founder and director of Marquette University's Restorative Justice Initiative in Milwaukee, WI, and a former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice. She works with correctional institutions, including the Green Bay Correctional Institution, guiding and promoting healing between offenders and victims of crime. She is a Distinguished Professor Law at Marquette University, a renowned speaker on restorative justice, women's issues, spirituality, and social justice, and a prominent leader in ehr field. Justice Geske received St. Norbert College's first Ambassador of Peace Award in 2007, and we are extremely excited to welcome her back to speak at the 12th annual Phenomenal Woman Conference.
