Spend the time to formulate a good thesis, but don’t be afraid to change it if you discover it isn’t right.

How do you get started on a writing assignment?
Once I have a solid thesis, I jump right to the body of the essay and worry about creating my introduction later. What I write in my essay’s body can often inspire my introduction in ways I couldn’t imagine earlier in the process.
