What do we do—and not do?
Our goal is to assist student writers throughout the writing process, from prewriting and writing to revising and editing.
Our consultants are trained as tutors, not editors, to help students improve their writing skills. They identify strengths and areas needing improvement in papers, but they will not proofread or “correct” essays. Instead, consultants will talk with student writers about ways to consider and revise their work. |
