• Reading Books (Multi-culturally appropriate, US Grades 1-4)
• Folders with pockets
• Pens - black, blue, and red
• Construction Paper
• Glue Sticks
• Markers
• Crayons
• Yarn and Knitting Needles 
• Paper is definitely needed, but expensive to transport.  Donations of  cash for exercise books and other paper products, which can be purchased in Zambia, are appreciated.  One student exercise book costs 50 cents.   
• Jackets - Students in ZOCS schools are 9 –20 years old.  Girls’ and boys’ sizes M and L, youth sizes S-M-L, and adult sizes S and M are preferred, though a few adult L are  needed.    Sweatshirts and medium-weight jackets - the kind of outerwear we upper Midwesterners wear in spring and fall - is ideal.    Darker colors are desirable, but any color will be appreciated.
