Susie McGinnity

International Integrated Studies Instructor

Susie received her B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature and Latin American Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While at Madison, she spent a semester abroad studying in Valladolid, Spain and one year studying at La Universidad Católica in Lima, Peru.

She received her Postbaccalaureate Certification in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) and World Languages (Spanish) from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is a Wisconsin licensed K-12 teacher in both ESL and Spanish.

Susie completed her M.S. in Administrative Leadership with a concentration in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has served on her local school board and volunteers in many other leadership capacities in her community.

Prior to coming to St. Norbert College in 2006, Susie taught English as a Second Language and Spanish at Lake County College in Chicago, and also at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay. Before that, Susie worked as a high school English and Spanish teacher in the Milwaukee Public Schools. She has also directed after-school enrichment programs and summer camps in Madison.
