Management

We’ve been teaching management since we were four years old

Just four years after our founding in 1898, St. Norbert College added business administration to its course offerings (“commerce” back then).

Today, our robust business discipline includes a specific major in management. Students in the management major learn to understand human behavior in organizations and lead people in effective – and ethical – ways.

Management majors at SNC acquire both the practical skills associated with business management and higher-order expertise in areas including strategy, processes, leadership, teamwork, and managing change and culture.

Academics paths in the management major

At SNC, you can take a variety of business-focused courses and receive a Bachelor of Business Administration degree majoring in management. These courses will give you the skills and experience you need to take on a management role in all different areas – from finance and human resources to health care and technology.

Elevate your business management education

Management majors benefit tremendously from college internships. We strongly encourage our SNC students to take advantage of our deep connections to the local De Pere and Green Bay business communities by pursuing internships that leverage their classroom learning in transformative ways.

  • If you think about your college experience and your first year, you can basically recreate yourself. Here I’ve figured out what is important to me, what I want to prioritize.

  • Upon reflecting on my time at SNC, I realize how very important being a well-rounded, community-minded human being is, in addition to being a good student. SNC helped me prepare a solid educational foundation for future success, but above all, SNC instilled and reinforced good values to practice in life.
