Psychology

Pathways of the mind

What makes people tick? Is intelligence affected by the environment? How are sensation and memory related? You’ll examine questions like these as a psychology major at St. Norbert College with an eye to helping individuals find their way to better, more meaningful lives.

Our students explore behavioral, cognitive, developmental, biological, social and perceptual psychology. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of the complex ways our brain is affected by our biology and our environment. And you’ll graduate with strong research skills and a broad understanding of the biological, social and cultural factors that affect behavior and mental processes.

Academic pathways within the psychology major

At SNC, you can earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. We also offer a minor in psychology that complements coursework in a variety of other fields.
