Need-based aid

Learn how need-based college financial aid works

College is expensive. Even families who save carefully appreciate any extra savings, and that’s where need-based financial aid comes into play. Need-based aid can be made up of college grants or scholarships that don’t need to be repaid, or loans that you have to pay back later.

St. Norbert College’s need-based financial aid goes a long way toward making college possible for many students. We offer substantial need-based grants, and guide students and families through the process of applying for federal loans. Our goal is to help you make a practical plan for college costs that is a good fit for your family — and your future.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

All students who wish to be considered for need-based financial aid are required to submit a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

You may complete the FAFSA as early as Dec. 1 for the following academic year. Submit the FAFSA by the priority filing date of Feb. 1 in order to be eligible for all forms of financial aid, especially funds with limited availability.

The financial aid code for SNC is 003892.
