KENOSHA - St. Norbert College opened its 2010 men's soccer season with a 1-0 non-conference win over Carthage College at Art Keller Field.

Eric Natwick's shot from the top of the box in the match's 49th minute was the game's only score. Petro Czerniak tallied the assist on the marker.

Carthage outshot St. Norbert 8-3 in the match, and the Green Knights' lone shot in the second half found the back of the net. The Red Men held a 6-1 corner kick advantage and also had the edge in fouls at 10-6.

Freshman Erik Tauschek picked up the shutout in goal for St. Norbert, making four saves in his first collegiate match.
